Central Railway will operate Mega Block on its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work on Sunday 17.2.2013: -
ON DOWN SLOW LINE BETWEEN BYCULLA AND VIDYAVIHAR STATIONS
FROM 11.30 AM TO 3.30 PM.
Dn slow line services leaving Byculla from 11.04 am to 3.31 pm will be diverted on Dn fast line between Byculla and Vidyavihar stations, halting at Parel, Dadar, Matunga, Sion and Kurla stations and further will be re-diverted on Dn slow line proper.
Dn slow line services will not be available at Chinchpokli, Curry Road and Vidyavihar stations. However passengers of these stations are permitted to travel via Parel and Ghatkopar stations in Up direction on their valid card/season tickets during the block period.
ON UP HARBOUR LINE BETWEEN KURLA AND CHHATRAPATI SHIVAJI TERMINUS &
ON UP AND DN HARBOUR LINES BETWEEN VADALA ROAD AND MAHIM STATIONS
FROM 11.30 AM TO 3.30 PM.
Dn Harbour line services to Bandra/Andheri leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 10.20 am to 4.04 pm and Up Harbour line services towards Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus leaving Bandra /Andheri from 10.40 am to 3.45 pm will remain suspended.
Up Harbour line services from Panvel / Belapur/Vashi towards CST leaving Kurla from 11.08 am to 3.23 pm will run via Main line between Kurla and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus. These trains will not halt at Currey Road and Chinchpokli stations.
Harbour line passengers for Bandra/ Andheri are permitted to travel Via Main line and Western Railway from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm on 17.2.2013.
Due to these blocks, suburban locals will be running about 15 minutes behind schedule. As a result of this, suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual. Passengers are requested not to take any risks while travelling. They are also requested to avoid travelling on foot board, roof top of locals and not to board extremely over crowded trains.
