MEGA BLOCK on 24.2.2013
Central Railway will operate Mega Block on its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work on Sunday 24.2.2013: -
ON DN FAST LINE BETWEEN THANE AND KALYAN STATIONS
FROM 11.30 AM TO 3.30 PM.
Dn fast line services leaving CSTM from 10.08 am to 2.51 pm will be diverted on Dn slow line between Thane and Kalyan stations & will halt at all stations between Thane and Kalyan during the block period.
ON UP AND DN HARBOUR LINES BETWEEN MANKHURD AND NERUL STATIONS
FROM 11.00 AM TO 3.00 PM.
Dn Harbour line services to Panvel / Belapur / Vashi leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 10.12 am to 2.45 pm and Up Harbour line services towards Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus leaving Panvel / Belapur / Vashi from 10.20 am to 3.04 pm will remain cancelled.
However special local trains will run on Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus – Mankhurd and Panvel – Thane sections during the block period.
Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel Via Trans Harbour Line / Main Line during the block period on 24.2.2013.
Due to these blocks, suburban locals will be running about 15 minutes behind schedule. As a result of this, suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual. Passengers are requested not to take any risks while travelling. They are also requested to avoid travelling on foot board, roof top of locals and not to board extremely over crowded trains.
