BHUBANESWAR-NEW DELHI:
02281/02282 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi-Bhubaneswar weekly super fast special train will leave Bhubaneswar at 0810hrs o­n every Wednesday between 10th July to 31st July 2013 and will arrive at New Delhi o­n the following day at 0605hrs. In the return direction, this train will leave New Delhi at 1300hrs o­n every Thursday between 11th July to 1stAugust 2013 and will arrive at Bhubaneswar at 1105hrs o­n Friday.

Due to operational reasons, the following trains have been cancelled:

·The 13039 Howrah- Delhi Jn. Janta Express has been cancelled o­n date i.e. 05.07.2013. Consequently, the 13040 Delhi Jn.- Howrah- Delhi Jn. Express train scheduled to depart from Delhi Jn. at 03.35 p.m. has been cancelled o­n  07.07.2013.

·The 12393 Rajendernagar- New Delhi Sampoorn Kranti Express has been cancelled o­n date i.e. 05.07.2013. Consequently, the 12394 New Delhi- Rajendernagar Sampoorn Kranti Express train scheduled to depart from New Delhi at 05.30 p.m. will remain cancelled o­n 06.07.2013.

To carry out maintenance work of track, signalling & overhead equipments, a jumbo block will be taken between Marine Lines and Mahim Jn. Junction stations from 10.35 hrs to 15.35 hrs o­n Sunday, 7th July, 2013 o­n Down Local lines (i.e. slow corridor).



During the block, all Down slow trains will run o­n Down through lines (i.e. fast corridor) between Marine Lines and Mahim Jn. stations. These diverted trains will not halt at Mahalaxmi, Elphinstone Road and Matunga Road for want of platform, hence passengers can travel in opposite direction for their destinations between Bandra and Mumbai Central stations. All 12 car slow services will take double halt at Lower Parel and Mahim Jn.Due to the block, some up and down suburban trains will remain cancelled.

One  wheel of loco of Train No. 17058Secunderabad– Mumbai Devgiri express derailed  near Igatpur station at 04.15 hrs today i.e. o­n 05/07/13 and same was re-railed at 5.55 hours. No injury to the passengers and UP trains were diverted via Yard Line.  The passengers of affected train were adjusted in Up trains i.e. 11016 Kushinagar Express and 12138 Up Punjab Mail by 08.30 hrs. Due to this Manmad-LTT Rajya Rani Express is cancelled and UP Mail/Express trains were deleyed by 1-00 hour.  Shri B.P.Khare,General Manager along with Sr.Railway Officials reached the site immediately to inspection of restoration work.  Following enquiry cum help line counter  were opened for the benefit of public.

             Central Railway will operate Mega Blocks o­n its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work o­n Sunday 7.7.2013 : -


1)  ON UP SLOW LINE BETWEEN KALYAN AND THANE STATIONS
from 11.00 am to 4.00 pm.
Up slow line services leaving Kalyan from 10.34 am to 3.54 pm will be diverted o­n Up fast line between Kalyan and Mulund stations halting at Dombivli and Thane stations.

All DN fast line services leaving Mumbai CST from 10.08 am  to 2.40 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations in addition to their scheduled halts and UP fast line locals leaving Thane station from 10.50 am to 3.08 pm will halt at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their scheduled halts and arrive their destination15 minutes behind schedule. UP slow line services will not be available at Thakurli, Kopar, Diva, Mumbra and Kalwa Stations. Passengers of these stations are permitted to travel via Dombivli and Thane stations. All slow locals arriving & leaving CST between 10.00 am to 4.00 pm will arrive their destination 15 minutes behind schedule.  
2)  ON UP AND DN  LINE BETWEEN KALYAN AND AMBERNATH STATIONS
from 2.00 pm to 3.30 pm.
DN local line services will remain suspended between Kalyan and Badlapur stations leaving Kalyan from 1.32 pm to 3.17 pm and UP line locals leaving Badlapur from 1.49 pm to 3.22 pm
However, Shuttle services will run between Badlapur and Karjat during the block period.
UP HARBOUR LINE BETWEEN KURLA AND CHHATRAPATI SHIVAJI TERMINUS &

UP AND DN HARBOUR LINES BETWEEN VADALA ROAD AND MAHIM STATIONS

FROM 11.30 AM TO 3.30 PM.


            Dn Harbour line services to Bandra/Andheri leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 10.20 am to 4.32 pm and Up Harbour line services towards Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus leaving Bandra /Andheri from 10.40 am to 4.41 pm will remain suspended.

Up Harbour line services towards Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus leaving Kurla from 11.08 am to 3.23 pm will run via Main line between Kurla and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus. These trains will not halt at Currey Road and Chinchpokli stations.

Harbour line passengers for Bandra/ Andheri are permitted to travel Via Main line and Western Railway from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm o­n 7.7.2013.

            All Up and Dn Harbour line services leaving and arriving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus between 11.00 am and 5.00 pm will arrive destination about 10 minutes behind schedule.

            Due to these blocks suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual. Passengers are requested not to take any risks while travelling. They are also requested to avoid travelling o­n foot board, roof top of locals and not to board extremely over crowded trains. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.

T.No.08041/08042 Santragachi - Chennai Central – Santragachi weekly superfast special trains were scheduled to run ex. Santragachi on Saturdays from 06.4.2013 to 29.6.2013 and ex. Chennai Central on Mondays from 08.4.2013 to 01.7.2013.The service of these trains has been extended to clear extra rush of traffic.Accordingly, Train No.08041 Santragachi – Chennai Central special will leave Santragachi at 19.10 hrs. on 06.7.2013, Saturday and arrive Chennai Central at 22.45 hrs. the next day.In the return direction, Train No.08042 Chennai Central – Santragachi special will leave Chennai Central at 07.30 hrs. on 08.7.2013, Monday and reach Santragachi at 11.00 hrs. the next day.
Advance reservation for the above trains will commence on 06.07.2013.

SCR’s Performance during the First Quarter (April-June 2013) of the Current Financial Year 2013-14

The highlights of the performance of SCR in its traffic volume and earnings during the first quarter (April to June) of the current financial year 2013-14 are detailed below:

SCR achieved a Gross Earnings of Rs ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­2589 Cr. during the period April-June 2013  with an incremental earning of Rs. 100 Cr. over the earnings of the corresponding  period of the previous year,  posting a growth rate of  4 %.

        During April-June 2013, the Zone  has  achieved  an  originating freight loading of  26.7 Million Tonnes (MT) with an earning of Rs. 1846 Cr.  Earnings from Freight constituted 72 % of the total earnings.

        Coal with 14.6 MT constituted 55% of the total freight loading. Cement with 7 MT Food grains with 1.7 MT  and Fertilizers with 0.75 MT  constituted other major components of freight traffic loaded o­n SCR. The freight loading of SCR is mainly aided by Coal from Singareni Collieries and the traffic handled at the Ports of Krishnapatnam and Kakinada.

        The off take of coal by Rail from Singareni Collieries stood at 7.3 MT.  during April-June 2013. The Rail loading at Krishnapatnam Port was 3.3 MT (+34% over the last year) and from Kakinada Port was 1.7 MT. (+ 36 % over the last year ) during this period. The commodities loaded at these Ports mainly comprised of Coal and Fertilizers.

        SCR  carried  97 millions of originating passengers during April-June 2013,  ie. 10.66 lakh passengers o­n an average per day.  Passenger Earnings constituted 24 % of the total earnings. They grew by 17 %  in the 1st Quarter to  Rs. 612 Cr. compared to Rs. 524 Cr. earned during the same period of the previous fiscal.

        During April-June 2013, SCR operated  296 special train services and carried 1.74 lakhs additional passengers. 1457 extra coaches were attached benefitting 86139 passengers. The carrying capacity of 8 Express trains has been augmented by attachment of  30 additional coaches (12 AC III Tier, 1 AC II Tier, 7 Sleeper Class and 10 General Second Class Coaches)  on a permanent basis.

Due to operational reasons, Railway has decided to change the day of run of the 19326 Amritsar- Indore Weekly Express train from Thursday to Wednesday from  04.09.2013.

Four Special Trains between Aurangabad and Pandharpur

In order to clear extra rush of passengers during Ashadi Ekadashi celebrations at Pandharpur, SCR will run four special trains  between Aurangabad and Pandharpur with all Unreserved General Second Class Coaches.

        Accordingly, Train No. 07501 Aurangabad - Pandharpur Special Train will depart Aurangabad at 20 30 hrs o­n 17th  and 20th July 2013 and arrive Pandharpur at 08 50 hrs o­n the next day

        In the opposite direction, Train No. 07502 Pandharpur -  Aurangabad Special Train will depart Pandharpur at 22 00 hrs o­n 18th  and 21stJuly 2013 and arrive Aurangabad at 11 30 hrs o­n the next day.

        Enroute these trains will stop at Jalna, Partur, Selu, Manwath Road, Parbhani, Gangakher, Parli Vajinath, Latur Road, Latur, Usmanabad, Barshi Town and Kurduwadi Stations in both directions.

  The Train will have eight General Second Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches totaling to ten coaches.

Railways Arrangements for Puri Rath Yatra – 2013

For the convenience of pilgrims and passengers and to cater to extra rush of passengers during Rath Yatra Festival at Puri, East Coast Railway has decided to run special trains from different parts of Odisha, West Bengal  and Andhra Pradesh excluding the existing trains coming to Puri. Special trains will also run to and from Puri to clear extra rush o­n the occasion of Sandhya Darshan, Bahuda Yatra and Sunavesa. Apart from this, six trains will be rescheduled, five to be diverted and six to be extended to Puri. ECoR has arranged exclusive passenger amenities for the convenience of the passengers.

Railways will be running a total of 82 Nos special trains o­n 10/07/2013 (Gundicha Yatra), 17/07/2013 (Sandhya Darshan), 18/07/2013 (Bahuda Yatra) and o­n 19/07/2013 (Suna Vesha). This is in addition to about 25 pairs of regular train services.
Train No. 12891 / 12892 (Bhubaneswar-Bangriposi- Bhubaneswar Express) would be extended up to Puri w.e.f. 10/07/2013 and till 20/07/2013.  The train (No. 12891) would arrive at Puri at 1220 hours from Bangriposi and leave Puri at 1425 hrs. for Bangriposi.
It is also planned to run some special trains o­n 20/07/2013, i.e., the day following Suna Vesha in order to evacuate the pilgrims, if required.
A large no. of extra coaches will be put into service in order to run these special trains. Elaborate arrangements have been made for cleaning and watering of trains for ensuring pleasant and comfortable journey.

Extra  Ticket Counters:

(a)

In order to handle large number of pilgrims, 35 Nos additional ticket counters will be opened at PURI railway station. A large no. of them, including the o­ne at Bagala Dharmasala, would be functioning round-the-clock.

Similarly, in order to handle the additional rush of pilgrims at other stations, additional booking counters will be opened at peak hours at Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Balugaon, Khalikote, Paradeep, Bhadrak & Jajpur-Keonjhar Road.

Enquiry Counters and Information Centers:

(a)

3 Nos additional enquiry counters will be opened at PURI railway station in addition to o­ne regular counter. These counters will be strategically located in the circulating area and near the temporary entry point at the extreme end of platform No.1A.

3 Nos Passenger Help Desks will be set up near the buffer ends of Platforms in order to guide the passengers.

(c)
Passengers can also enquire about the train running information o­n telephone No. 06752-226717.

Timetable and Publicity:

(a)

20 nos. Train Timetable Boards will be put up at strategic locations at PURI Railway Station and other important locations in PURI town, such, as Singhdwar and Bagala Dharmasala.

(b)
12 nos. Train Indication Boards, indicating the schedule of trains along with platform departure will be functioning in Mela Shed and other locations at PURI Railway station.

(c)
Wide publicity of special trains to be run during the Rath Yatra will be made through PA system installed at PURI railway station and through Cable TV network. In addition, leaflets will be distributed amongst the passengers at the railway stations for educating the passengers regarding Rath Yatra arrangements made by the railways.

Mela Shed:




A large number of devotees are expected to arrive at the PURI railway station from various locations in and outside the State round –the- clock. In order to provide them with resting and toilet / bathing facility, a temporary Melashed, covering an area of 1800 Sqm, is being erected at the PURI railway station. It can accommodate approx. 4000 passengers at a time.

Catering  and Drinking Water:



In addition to a Food Plaza at PURI Railway station, arrangements are being made for selling of Tea, Snacks, Water bottles and Janata meal. 130 nos. drinking water taps are available o­n the PFs of Puri Railway Station. 4 nos. of Water Coolers are also available for ensuring cold potable water to the passengers.
Additional food stalls will also be functioning at major en-route stations, such as, Sakshigopal, Delanga, Kanas Road and Khurda Road Railway Stations.

Sanitation:



More than 100 supervisors and staff will be deputed round the clock for ensuring proper cleanliness and sanitation in the station premises including the Melashed and the circulating area.

Medical Assistance:



Medical Assistance Booth will be functioning in the circulating area of PURI railway station round the clock. It will be manned by 5 doctors and 30 nurses and other para medical staff and will have Ambulance service as well.

Illumination:



Adequate arrangements are being made by Railways for ensuring uninterrupted power supply at PURI Railway Station for ensuring non-stop functioning of lights, fans, electronic equipment and other passenger amenity services. For this purpose, 1 no. 100 KVA and 2 nos.  63 KVA Generator Power Cars are being pressed into service in addition to o­ne stationary Generator of 250 KVA.
Keeping up with the festive mood of the town, the station building has been tastefully decorated with electric lights.

LC Gate Management:



Considering the heavy flow of road traffic through Talabania LC gate, additional manpower including GRP personnel, will be deployed at the Talabania LC Gate in order to ensure trouble free movement of train services and road vehicles.

Assistance to Temple Administration:

Like in previous years, railways will be providing trained workforce, breakdown materials, such as, Jacks etc., to attend any possible breakdown of Chariots during the Rath Yatra.

Manpower Mobilization:

Ensuring the above arrangements involves large scale mobilization of manpower and other resources. Over 640 railway staff and supervisors of Operating, Commercial, Mechanical, Electrical, Signal & Telecommunication, Engineering and Medical departments from stations other than Puri would be assisting the railway staff available in Puri. The railway staff would be assisted by 30 Scouts and 22 Civil Defence personnel. All officers of the Division would be keeping a close watch o­n the arrangements.

Safety and Security:

Considering a large congregation of devotees at PURI railway station, elaborate safety arrangements are being made. Large contingents of Railway Protection Force (RPF) comprising approximately 500 personnel, sniffer dogs and GRP consisting of about 750 officers and jawans would be mobilized for round-the-clock deployment. They would be assisted by 300 home guards. Fire Service personnel will be available along with Fire Tenders at the station.   25 nos. of Fire extinguishers have been made available at strategic locations.
24 CCTV Cameras will be installed covering the entire length and breadth of PURI railway station in order to keep a close watch o­n anti-social activities.

T.No.12639/12640 Chennai Central – Bangalore - Chennai Central ‘Brindavan’ express trains will be permanently augmented by two general second class coaches with effect from 04.7.2013.   

TEMPORARY AUGMENTATION OF POORVA EXPRESS

The 12303 & 12381 Howrah- New Delhi Poorva Express Trains will be augmented by Two Additional Sleeper Class coaches each o­n 15,16,19 & 20.07.2013 and 18, 21 & 24.07.2013 respectively when departing from Howrah. In the return direction, the 12304 & 12382 New Delhi- Howrah Poorva Express Trains will be augmented by Two Additional Sleeper Class coaches each. o­n 17, 20 & 25.07.2013 and 16, 19, 22 & 23.07.2013 respectively when departing from New Delhi. The other features like timings, route, stoppages etc. will remain as unchanged.  

WR EXTENDS TRIPS OF BANDRA TERMINUS – JODHPUR SPECIAL EXPRESS

Train No.04804 Bandra (T) - Jodhpur Weekly Special will leave Bandra (T) at 23.55 hrs o­n every Saturday from 06th July to 27th July, 2013 and reach Jodhpur at 17.45 hrs, the next day. Similarly, in return direction Train No. 04803 Jodhpur – Bandra (T) Weekly Special will leave Jodhpur at 4.00 hrs o­n every Saturday 06th July to 27th July, 2013 and reach Bandra (T) at 22.25 hrs, the same day.



The train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Valsad, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad, Ahmedabad, Mehesana Jn., Palanpur, Abu Road, Sirohi Road, Falna, Marwar Jn., Pali Marwar and Luni stations in both directions.



The train will have AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, Sleeper class and II class general accommodation.



Bookings for the extended trips for the above train will open o­n 05thJuly, 2013.

CHANGE OF TERMINALS OF GORAKHPUR-BANGALORE CITY WEEKLY EXPRESS & KONGU WEEKLY EXPRESS TRAINS

The terminal of 12591/12592 Gorakhpur- Yeshwantpur - Gorakhpur Weekly Express Train will be shifted from Bangalore to Yeshwantpur from 07.09.2013 when departing from Gorakhpur & from 09.09.2013 when departing from Yeshwantpur and will not stop at Bangalore Cantt. & Bangalore East stations as the train will not run in this section. The 12591 Gorakhpur- Yeshwantpur Weekly Express Train will reach Yeshwantpur at 04.20 a.m. while in the return direction, the 12592 Yeshwantpur - Gorakhpur Weekly Express Train will depart from Yeshwantpur at 05.20 p.m.

·The terminal of 12647/12648 Hazrat Nizamuddin- Coimbatore Jn.- Hazrat Nizamuddin Weekly Express Train will be shifted from Bangalore to Yeshwantpur from 08.09.2013 when departing from Coimbatore Jn. & from 11.09.2013 when departing from Hazrat Nizamuddin and will not stop at Bangalore Cantt. station as the train will not run in this section. The 12647 Coimbatore Jn.- Hazrat Nizamuddin Weekly Express Train will reach Yeshwantpur at 11.20 p.m. while in the return direction, the 12648 Hazrat Nizamuddin- Coimbatore Jn. Weekly Express Train will reach Yeshwantpur at 01.10 a.m.

CANCELLATION OF JANTA EXPRESS AND MAHANANDA EXPRESS TRAINS

Due to operational reasons, the following trains have been cancelled:

·The 13040 Delhi Jn.- Howrah- Delhi Jn. Express train scheduled to depart from Delhi Jn. at 03.35 p.m. has been cancelled o­n date i.e. 02.07.2013.

·The 15483 Alipur Duar- Delhi Jn. Mahananda Express train scheduled to reach Delhi Jn. at 06.10 p.m. today i.e. 02.07.2013 has been cancelled. Consequently, its return service, the 15484 Delhi Jn.- Alipur Duar Mahananda Express train scheduled to depart from Delhi Jn. at 06.40 a.m. o­n 04.07.2013 will remain cancelled.

SHRI G.C.AGARWAL TAKES OVER AS GENERAL MANAGER, SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY

Shri G.C.Agarwal has taken over the charge of General Manager, South Eastern Railway on 30.06.2013 in addition to his duties as General Manager/Eastern Railway. The previous General Manager of SER Shri A.K.Verma retired from service on 30.6.2013.

Shri G.C.Agarwal held his first official meeting with all the Principal Head of Departments of South Eastern Railway at its headquarters at Garden Reach, today(1.7.13).He appreciated the good work done by South Eastern Railway in the first three months in the current financial year 2013-14.

Shri G.C.Agarwal is an officer of Indian Railways Service of Engineers(IRSE).He joined the Railways in 1976 and has worked at important positions in different Zonal Railways.Before his posting as General Manager he worked as Principal Chief Engineer in Eastern Railway, Western Railway and North Eastern Railway. He has also worked as Divisional Railway Manager, Bhusawal Division(Central Railway).Shri Agarwal has also been posted to RDSO(Research, Design and Standards Organisation) where he represented the Indian Railways in a Joint Railway Research Project co-ordinated by UIC(International Union of Railways).Shri Agarwal has also undertaken training in several countries abroad including France and USA.

Central Railway has decided to run o­ne Superfast special train from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus to Shalimar o­n 5.7.2013 to clear the extra rush of Passengers. The details are as under -



Train No. 08059  Lokmanya Tilak Terminus  – Shalimar Superfast special will leave LTT at 00.45 hrs o­n Friday 5.7.2013 (midnight of Thu/Fri) and arrive Shalimar at 08.20 hours next day i.e. Saturday.



Halts:      Kalyan, Nasik, Manmad, Bhusawal, Akola, Badnera, Wardha, Nagpur, Gondia, Durg, Raipur, Bilaspur, Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Chakradharpur, Tatanagar, Kharagpur and Santragachi.

            ‍For the convenience of the rail passengers and to increase the passenger carrying capacity of trains, Railway has decided to augment  the 15017/15018 Lokmanya Tilak Terminal- Gorakhpur Lokmanya Tilak Terminal Express Trains o­n temporary basis as per the under-mentioned  programme:



15017/15018 Lokmanya Tilak Terminal- Gorakhpur - Lokmanya Tilak Terminal  Express Train will be augmented by o­ne Additional General second class  coach with immediate effect to 15.07.2013 when departing from Gorakhpur and from 03.07.2013 to 17.07.2013 when departing from Lokmanya Tilak Terminal. The other features like timings, route, stoppages, composition etc. will remain as unchanged.

South Central Railway permanently augmented Train No. 12738 / 12737 Secunderabad - Kakinada Town - Secunderabad Gautami Express with o­ne additional Sleeper Class coach as detailed below:

 Accordingly, Train No. 12738 Secunderabad - Kakinada Town Gautami Express is permanently augmented with one additional Sleeper Class coach Ex. Secunderabad from 2nd July, 2013.

 Train No. 12737 Kakinada Town – Secunderabad Gautami Express is permanently augmented with one additional Sleeper Class coachEx. Kakinada Town from 3rd July, 2013.

 Train No. 12738/12737 Secunderabad-Kakinada Town-Secunderabad Gautami Express will have 24 coaches viz., o­ne Ist AC cum IInd AC, o­ne AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, fifteen Sleeper Class, three General Second Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

)Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad AC Special Train (8 Services)

 Train No. 07148 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam AC Special Train will depart Secunderabadat 21 30 hrs o­n Fridays ie., on 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th July, 2013  and arrive  Visakhapatnam  at 10 35 hrs o­n the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 07147 Visakhapatnam- Secunderabad AC Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 20 00 hrs on Saturdays ie., o­n 6th, 13th, 20th and 27thJuly, 2013 and arrive Secunderabad at 09 45 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute, these AC special trains will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Tuni, Anakapalli and Duvvada Stations in both directions. These AC special trains will have o­ne 1stAC, three AC II Tier, ten AC III Tier Coaches.

2)Aurangabad-Renigunta Janatha Special Train ( 1 Service):

     Train No. 07234 Aurangabad-Renigunta Janatha Special train will depart Aurangabad at 18 40 hrs o­n 4th July 2013 (Thursday) and arrive Renigunta at 18 30 hrs o­n the next day.

 Enroute, this Janatha special train will stop at Jalna, Parbhani, Purna, Nanded, Mudhked, Basar, Nizambad, Kamareddi, Secunderabad, Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Tenali, Chirala, o­ngole, Nellore, Gudur, Venkatagiri and Srikalahasti Stations. This train will have 10 coaches viz., eight General Second Class and two Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.

3)Renigunta–Secunderabad Janatha Special Train ( 1 Service):

             Train No. 07233 Renigunta – Secunderabad Janatha Special train will depart Renigunta at 21 35 hrs o­n5th July 2013 (Friday) and arrive Secunderabad at 09 35 hrs o­n the next day.

 Enroute, this Janatha special train will stop at Srikalahasti, Venkatagiri, Gudur, Nellore, o­ngole, Chirala, Tenali, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal and Kazipet Stations.This train will have 10 coaches viz., eight General Second Class and two Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.

4) Aurangabad-Tirupati-Aurangabad  Special Trains( 4 services):

 Train No. 07405 Aurangabad-Tirupati Special Train will depart Aurangabad at 18 40 hrs o­n 5thand 12th July, 2013 (Fridays) and arrive Tirupati at 19 00 hrs o­n the next day.

 In the return direction, Train No.07406 Tirupati-Aurangabad Special train will depart Tirupati at 21 15 hrs o­n 6th and 13th July, 2013 (Saturdays) and arrive Aurangabad at 20 30 hrs o­n the next day.

SCIENCE EXPRESS TO CHUG CUTTACK

Highlighting the Scientific and Technological Developments, Exhibition o­n Wheels “Science Express” will again chug into Cuttack city o­n 5th July 2013 in its 6th phase exhibition. This Exhibition will be opened for public from 11.00a.m to 05.00p.m from 5th to 8th July 2013.
Science Express, the exhibition train modeled by Rashtriya Vigyan Evam Prodyogiki Sanchar Parishad (RVPSP), Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India has been developed to encourage talented youths to understand the excitement of careers in teaching & research in different disciplines of science.
This “Science Express” train is fully air-conditioned, consisting of 13 Exhibition coaches, two power cars and o­ne staff car has been developed for students pursuing science at the Senior Secondary level and Research students which will take three hours time for viewing the displays. The major objective of this Indo-German joint venture Science Express is to nurture curiosity amongst the youths & rekindle their waning interest in science.
After completion of exhibition at Cuttack, this train will also be exhibited at Bolangir from 9th to 11thJuly, Rayagada from 12th to 14th July and at Visakhapatnam from 15th to 18th July 2013.
